It sounds like the magnetron may have either failed or is not being supplied with the extremely high voltage required to run it.

YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT

This is a job for a professional but if you are safety clued up, here's instruction.
Make sure that !!!!any capacitors are discharged!!!!! before attempting any sort of repair.
Check the door interlock switches first then the high voltage diode with either an AVO model 8 or moving coil meter on high resistance range for short circuit, (DVM's won't show the fault!), the capacitor can fail and go short circuit, the feed fuse on the primary of the high voltage transformer and then finally, the magnetron is best checked by substitution.
Hope that helps.

Microwave light and clock work but no heat

Could be one of the three door switches. If the fan turns on when cooking and no heat then the magnetron is bad. Most problems are the switches

After cleaning, the microwave worked but

I am still working on the problem. So far the exhaust fan, the light , the clock and light inside the heating chamber has started working. I am going to sit back and think and look for the part that shorted out. Since the unit is 29 years old the bad part may not even be available. I will keep you advised after I find the culprit part. The information may be beneficial to others. Thanks

Magic Chef MCO 153 UQ heats but doesnt' turn

You can still use it, but must be aware that this is a relatively high power microwave, so food will burn if it isn't turned.

No heating, no clock, no timer, otherwise fine!

One of your door interlock switches is defective . I would suggest having it repaired by a qualified repair tech in your area.
