Hi,

  1. Have you made any changes to the computer prior to this issue?
The issue you're facing could be related to drivers and could be resolved by updating the display drivers.
2. To confirm this run your system low resolution mode.
  • Press and hold the F8 key as your computer starts.
  • On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight Enable low-resolution video, and then press Enter.
If the problem doesn't reappear in low-resolution mode, then the issue is driver related. Then you download display driver from your graphics card vendor site.

Thank You For Using FIXYA

Why doesn't my My McBook now running operating system 10.7.5 no longer work with the WPS-Dongle 2 ?

Upgrade issue. Why did you upgrade? Was it absolutely necessary? Upgrading should only be done as last resort because often it results in peripherals that worked no longer working. And if manufacturer of peripheral does not provide a new driver or patch you are SOL.

Swintec 2000 Margin

You should reset the margins where you would like them. To do this, go the the file screen and press MARGIN. Press <--- to change the left margin, or ---> to change the right margin, or the up arrow to change the top margin, or the down arrow to change the bottom margin.

Do one at a time. When you choose one (i.e. <---), the message "LEFT MARGIN SETTING" appears on the screen and the cursor moves to the left margin column automatically. Move the cursor to the desired location by using the arrow keys. As you move the cursor, the corresponding margin mark moves along with it. The press "DO" to set the new margin.

Hope this helps.

Mouse stopped working, but appears ok, batteries ok, can't determine problem

Hope this helps others. My mouse stopped controlling cursor but buttons worked. Problem was it would not work on a black table. Slip a piece of white paper under it and waaala! It works. I'm thinking optical mouse and dark surface might be an issue.
