Do you have any info on the craftsman model 137285850 mitre saw. owners manual? problem with mitre guage for angles, was removed not sure where it installs on base

I have the same saw, but the blade guard has been removed. How many of these parts make up the full guard, and do you know if I can buy the works as a unit?

Craftsman saw mod # 113-298051

The blade is able to be set to different angles by the handle under the front edge of the table. There is a lock handle to keep the angle set correctly. Loosen the lock handle, press a square (90 degree tool) against the flat of the blade - not the teeth - then lock the blade in place.

HOW DO I TILT SAW TO MITRE?

Hi, there should be a leaver or knurrld nut or handle at the back of
your saw loosen this and you should be able to tilt the saw over to the
left (normaly) under neath facing you , you should see a curved
angle guage and arrow marker 90--45 ...T.C.

Sears doesn't have a manual for that Craftsman saw. It must have been a small-volume seller or discontinued for problem issues. Find a neighbor who's experienced in using power miter saws; he should be able to show you anything you need to know. They're not complicated.

Can't change mitre angle

you need to remove the guide fence with the screws on the back. then you remove the throat plate and there is the bolt is that keeps it all together.

Just took one apart last week, not really difficult

You will have to use a regular square to check out the crafstsman and find out where it is wrong.
