tv won't come. when power button is pressed it clicks to come on then shuts off. it has to be unplugged in order to re-try it

WizIt sounds like there is a short on one of your supply rails,
This requires you to source the circuit digram (normally on a website) and with a meter find and rectify the short.
Unless you have the equipment and knowledge I can not help you further
