Providing the noise is not causing any picture or sound problems then the noise from the transformer is from the windings vibrating at A high frequency.
To prove this remove back from set & switch set on IF YOUR UNSURE OF YOUR COMPETANCE TO TOUCH LIVE CIRCUITS PLEASE TKE YOUR TV TO A REPAIR SHOP.
With an insulated item eg plastic pen or piece of wood push against transformer can you alter the pitch of the noise or make it stop alltogether by doing this.
If yes This can be cured by applying an epoxy resin type adhesive over the windings this will cure & pot the transformer which if done correctly will stop making the noise,
