This printer will not work under linux due to it being a host-based printer (offloading processing to the operating system), which make it cheaper by not requiring a powerful processor in the printer. Along with its use of proprietary print data streams, that makes it difficult to support without official drivers, which are Windows-only. You will find a more technical description of the problem on the IBM website.

If i install ubuntu do i need my drivers for my computer like if i reinstall windows?

If you install Ubuntu (Linux), you will need a new set of drivers for Linux, you cannot use Windows drivers.
Most will come the distribution.
If not, you must contact the manufacturers for a Linux version of the driver that will work with your version of Ubuntu.

Jwin driver linux

http://www.jwin.com/support.asp
this is the support site of the manufacturer for your web camera ..If there can be found a driver for your model here is teh place ..if it isn't listed just contact them and asks for instructions or chip model and look for the driver that way ..it may be used the same chip on more than one model and may have a driver ..
you didn't specified the exact model and I could not verify if there is one or not ..
If this is not working ..I suggest to install windows If you do not want linux and kept it just because it came with it ..
the drivers are more easy to find for windows..

How install driver delta66 in Ubuntu ?

The Delta 66 uses the Envy 24 chip which is recognized by the ALSA driver in most Linux distros including Ubuntu automatically. There's no driver to install, because it's already in the the ALSA driver. Open up the ALSA mixer setup your output settings and you're good to go.

to download driver for your web cam (win 7 compatibility) from official site of A4tech.
since it is rar file you need software like 7zip or winrar
follow the instructions below for proper installation
  • Save driver somewhere where you will remember after download . i recommend that you save it on your desktop , so it will be easy to find .
  • After successfully downloading the driver , do not open the driver file until you make sure the following has completed : ***REMOVE / UNINSTALL any webcam driver from the PC . ( If you forgot to do this part , your driver may not be able to install correctly and successfully later )
  • After the original driver has been removed , open the downloaded file
  • Follow the on-screen instructions .
  • When it's successfully installed , please restart your computer .
  • After you have restarted the computer , plug the webcam into your computer and it will automatically recognize the new hardware.
