I went to www.sony.com, clicked on customer support, typed in the model number of my headphones, and then clicked on the "operation" link.
A PDF file came up and told me exactly step by step how to use my headphones.

Is this product wireless stereo so music can be play off pda

Hello,

Some PDAs can broadcast BlueTooth in stereo, but none known that are able to broadcast directly to a radio.

To use the bluetooth, you would need an adapter that would allow you to attach a bluetooth receiver to stereo inputs, or a radio that is able to be paired to a bluetooth device directly. Otherwise, you will need to plug in a FM transmitter into the headphone jack of the PDA to get your signal to the radio that way. A third method is to use a cable between the PDA and radio, but it is no longer wireless.

Blackberry won't pair with sony bluetooth

Can you try these steps even if you have already failed - so it is clear exactly where your problem lies and how your blackberry is behaving.

Turn on your Sony device and activate the bluetooth feature, set it to pair or search for a device (if this is a headset, it will search automatically, once it is turned on)

On your Blackberry choose the bluetooth option and enable

At your next prompt, when asked ensure your bluetooth device is in pair mode - Say Yes

It will go through a searching for devices screen

Here you will find a list of bluetooth devices in your range that can be paired - (these devices should include your sony)

If at this point you get a message stating no new devices found - Say Ok

Do you see a list of previously paired devices which includes your Sony?!

Let me know how you get on with the above, and what if any error message you receive.

HTC Touch Diamond has a constant headphone icon

The headphone icon means that you are connected to either a headset or bluetooth for external audio.
If these are not plugged in or running, it would be the headset connector is stuck, thinking that you have a headset still plugged in.
Unfortunately you wil need to visit a service centre for this.

Try turning off all wireless, incl bluetooth and see if this goes away

Try to check this with another bluetooth headset; headset mic might be not working; damaged... try it. if another set works, your current headset needs a repair/replacement... enjoy!

I have a Mac laptop, a Palm Treo Wx and am now using a Motorola H700. I need to know how to sync my H700 with my Treo so I can dial via my headset and not need to use the actual cell phone. It has now...

Hi, i'm not sure what the Mac has to do with your Headset. You can register your blue tooth headset with any device that supports bluetooth. In fact, you can use your headset with multiple devices. Even your Mac can use bluetooth to connect to a headset (if you have bluetooth turned on, and not all Macs have factory bluetooth).

To 'register' your headset with the Treo is a two step process.
on the Treo, make sure bluetooth connectivity is turned on, then you should have a menu that allows you to find/enroll a new bluetooth device. Before you tell it to find a bluetooth device, turn on your headset. Now tell the Treo to search for devices. If it doesn't find your headset, then press and hold the button on the side and it will send out signals that your Treo will see. The Treo might give you a password code and ask you to confirm this is the device you want to synch to. Usually '0000', but in any case say yes, so long nobody else is around trying to do the same thing you are within 30'.
That should do it.
I don't think the Treo has voice recognition, which makes dialing on my Nokia a breeze, for true hands-free operation, nothing beats it.
Also note, the Treo has been know to have issues loosing bluetooth connectivity with the headset and not reconnecting with a re-boot.
so long you keep the two devices near each other, this shouldn't be a problem.

Jack problem - no sound

I have this problem too. It is probably the jack in the TX. Mine only plays through one channel. It can be repaired as well.

Another option you can try is getting drivers to run a bluetooth wireless stereo head through it. It's some dough to do it but it takes care of the jack issue.

T Mobile Wing bluetooth and music help please

Hi fazioli73,

With Bluetooth enabled cell phones, if it has a music player, the only device the music player will recognize to output audio is a set of Bluetooth Headphones, not a Bluetooth Headset.

Once you have the Bluetooth Headphones, set them into pairing mode. Then go into your Bluetooth options in your phone, and go into add/search for device. Once your phone recognizes your Bluetooth headphones, and you have it set as your main Bluetooth device, your music player should play through the headphones at that point.

Sincerely,
Gina, Communities Connection Manager

P990i is not supporting headset bluetooth HBH-PV700

You must operate your bluetooth headset HBH-PV700 in discovery mode in order for your mobile to discover the headset and then pair the two devices. To activate the discovery mode of your headset, while it is switched OFF press the switch on button and leave it pressed for approximately 10 seconds, then search for it with your mobile and pair the devices. most of the times the code needed for pairing is 0000 (zeros)
