I am trying to change the dryer cord from 3 wire and 3 prong wire to 4 wire/prong wire. I have put the white wire in the middle and black and red on the sides. But the dryer already has a green wire fixed on the outside and is coming from inside the dryer somewhere. Now I want to know that what do I do with the green wire that my new cord has?
Thanks
