Jabra does not charge - no lights

I have had my Jabra for a couple years now and it has charged everytime. I plugged it in the other day and there was no charging light and even after an hour there was not charge on the headset. I had not used it for a couple months. Not sure if there is anyway to get it working again. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. I haven't used my headset in a while, and tried to charge it tonight; when I plug it in it flashes green then red really quick then nothing. The blue light doesn't appear anymore and it doesn't appear to be charged at all. Any suggestions?

Jabra extreme2 will not charge

All things can go defect. But to find out if it is your charger, cable connector or the battery you have to look very close. Perhaps you even try another charger and or try to charge an other headset.
When you are using this one for a couple of years now, day by day, perhaps it is time to start saving for a new one?

Jabra wave battery suddenly won't charge

The battery may be shot and incapable of charging. The red light could be merely indicating that the charger is working.

Steady Red Light

From the sounds of this.. It's all due to bad keying of the polarized charging plug. The solid red light PROBABLY means you're battery is pretty darn dead. It'll need a new battery(not worth the cost imho. get a new jabra, and be happy once again) At a certain low voltage, the red light starts blinking. when it drops below the preset threshold, it will shut off completely. If it sits too long at this discharged rate, the battry WILL self-terminate. If the voltage drops below a certain level, it's ruined. Also note, most Li-ion cells will only last a few years. 2-3 years of "full power" is usual. Mine's 2 years old(steady usage), and showing signs of it's age.

"My red light won't go off even though I charged it all night.
Also, a small piece of plastic came off the charge opening. I don't know if this is will pose a problem to the use of the Jabra BT150."

This is probably the most telling bit of information. It means you DID plug the charger in upside down. It will NEVER charge in that configuration, as it is supplying power to the completely wrong pins. If the battery was good to start with, it shouldn't hurt the headset, but never know. I have accidentily plugged it in backwards for a couple min before noticing, with no ill efect, but YMMV.

"Doesn't anyone from the Jabra manufacturer check this site?"

NO (especially not for discontinued products)
