Question about Braun Syncro 7526 Electric Shaver

Top of cleaning stand came out, loose parts- can it be reassembled?

After replacing a cleaning cartridge, the top of the charging stand would not cleanly stay in its charging position for some reason, despite trying to re-seat the cartridge.  The top had gotten stuck closed at one point, and in trying to pull it back up it popped out and there are now three loose parts (see photos below).  Nothing appears to be broken or cracked, but I do not know how to re-assemble the loose parts.  I'd hate to have to throw the cleaning stand away.  Can anyone offer help?
Thanks,  Joe

You can obtain a replacement charging/cleaning base for only $18.99 atShaver Outlet, as of this writing. Follow the link here: Shaver Outlet Parts. If the shaver is still working fine, it's worth getting the replacementbase. Less than $25 shipped is a nice alternative to messing withvelcro strips and rubber bands. :-)

Remove print head canon mp480

THe print heads are an integral part of each cartridge. When you remove the cartridges you actually remove the print heads. You will need to open the top front panel to access the print carriage which moves left and right over the paper under it. Using cotton swabs you can apply rubbing alcohol to the places the cartridges rest upon and absorb all the dried out ink. Be sure you toss the old cartridges out before you reassemble. If you need to store any ink type printers REMOVE ALL CARTRIDGES and clean off the receivers on the print carriage!

The pieces that are needed are called pawls, of dogs. Your appliance store will be able to supply them, they are under $10, usually. the top 1/2 unbolts and comes off, be certain to align and not force when you reassemble.

The secret to long life is to use MORE than enough water, and not overload the machine...

The top agitator is normally somewhat loose...and agitates only in one direction.

I cannot click the top on when i try to charge it ....

The latch on the 'arm' of the clean and charging base is broken. You can either change out the top portion of the clean/charge base or replace the whole thing if you don't thisnk you can do the repair.
Both itemsare available at shaveroutlet.com. See links below. Basic instructions for installing the top part are included on the item page

Loose gear

Lock out-Tagout the machine. Remove the top cover, hold the beater shaft while removing the center shaft nut. Then remove the 4 bolts and and hardware on top of the first(worm) shaft and the second(clutch)shaft. you can gently tap the top cover up with a cold chisel on the upper parts of the housing. It's just a friction fit , aligned on two dowels. Once the cover is off, scoop out the grease, remove the side panel and selector assembly. Try and lift all of the first gear assembly together. the newer ones have a series of rollers and springs, which can be easily reassembled, if you see which way everything was. As you rmove parts, lay them on a clean surface in a row in the position they came out. The selector sleeve is marked TOP, but looking at the 4 drive teeth each side, you will see how it drives 2nd and 3rd gears. The clutch and worm shafts lift out together from slip fit bearings in the housing base.

When reassembling, coat everything with new grease, and run before loading all the grease. If you need to remove anything , you won't be up to your wrists in grease doing it. Once all is good, load the grease in the top hole nearest the motor with it running. The gears will feed the grease as you load the 35 OZ.
If you removed the planetary to remove the center shaft, don't tighten the half nut tight. back it off a half turn and lock it with the acorn nut. Otherwise you will loose first gear from pinch friction.

Grohe ladylux plus is leaking

I believe there is a cartrige that has some washers in the unit. There may be some debris caught in there since it was a little loose. I would turn the water off and disassymble the unit and replace any obvious washers and clean everthing up. Replace it all and try it again. If it still leaks, contact Grohe for more trouble shooting. Faucets have fantastic warranties and companies usually will send replacement parts free of charge at times. Hope this helps.

How to disassemble metz battery pack

Cleaning is unlikely to cure your problem.
To change the cells follow these instructions, taking care not to short circuit any of the cells.
You need to know how to use a soldering Iron.
You need to understand basic electrical principals.

Stand the battery on the part with the charge socket at the bottom, the plastic at the top is held in place by a series of plastic latches.
Look closely to see them.
Release these latches CAREFULLY one by one with awatchmakers screwdriver, until the cover can be removed.
This will enable you to see a single, roughly central crosshead screw.
Remove this screw.
Unsolder the contacts at the top.
Separate the top and bottom parts gently, whilst feeding the now unsoldered wires into the assembly until you can see the lower soldered contacts on the cell units.
Unsolder these two contacts, and separate the top and bottom parts completely.
Withdraw the six cell units together, and hol them together with an elastic band.examine closely and note the long metal strip which is required to pass over a seperator in the housing.
Note also the transparent rings around the positive contacts on the cells, recover an re use these.
Purchase either solder tagged NiCads and solder them yourself, or get a battery supplier to replicate the complete six cell unit. (30 bucks here in France).
DO NOT try to solder cells without solder tags. Battery replacement stores are equipped with micro spot welding equipment to connect these.
In either case it is MUCH easier to reassemble the battery pack using the upper housing to keep the cells in place whilst soldering or welding.
Rebuild the unit.
Done!

I just experienced the same problem and came up with this solution. Use a spring clamp to keep the top of the charging stand in place. It works like a charm.

I just had the same problem, where the top of the charger would not stay down. I tried a spring clamp to keep it in place, and that works like a charm! Try it!
