The second link i posted do not require the customer to buy a minimum and they sell to everybody not just companies or techs. I buy parts from them.

Toshiba model 35D10 randomly turns itself off. requires unplugging/replugging at wall ooutlet to reset. problem has become more and more frequent.

replace flyback transformer (same type - equivalent will not work ) - this part's work is to supply voltage to TV TUBE - after 4 years ( 4 to 10 years - depending on usage ) this part becomes weak then in top brand TVs automatically TV senses this deffect & well in advance it shuts off TV to protect other components from getting damaged due to this flyback transformer ........... as on now in your case only flyback transformer is deffective - so replace it as early as possible ....... click below link for more details on how to replace it ......

I have a 32 inch jvc that is 4 years old it went black and is making loud zaping noises what is my problem and how do i fix it model number is av--32d305

The zapping noises are coming from the flyback transformer which is also why you do not have a picture. JVC discontinued this model so it is a good chance there are no parts available to fix it. You would be better off buying a new tv.

I was told tthat the flyback is bad on my toshiba tv model #CF36G40 can i replace the flyback myself? Is there any adjustments that need to be made after replacement?

Stay the hell away from a flyback. It will knock you clear across the room! The only thing I look for in a tv is an internal fuse, and then I look very carefully. If I don't find a fuse, I toss it.

Hitachi Multisystem TV model # C2980FS ..not powering on

First off you gotta tell us whats the right model and make as you have two listed here and both of these flybacks are avail. trough http://www.partstore.com. The parts are not listed online but get the toll free # or leave a message for them to get back to you. Now A flyback is not a user replaceable part for starters. It is soldered in and theres very high voltage inside these sets even after they are unplugged, and its not adviseable to replace a hi-voltage part in a set, unless you know the issues involved with replacing such parts. Good Luck
