Window show (No Audio Output Device is installed)

1. Make sure your Microphone is connected properly to the correct port (It's usually the one with the little mic picture on it at the back of your CPU)

2. Once it is properly connected, the system will automatically detect your microphone and suggest for you to download the necessary drivers needed. Do so to fully use your device.

3. If this still doesn't work, go to control panel, click on sounds and make sure that everything is set up properly (audio, mic in has volume, etc)

My pc says no audio output device is installed

You have to install the audio driver for the audio device first. As for the output audio it is for speakers connect/plug into to the output audio port.

You have to install audio device driver again. You may find it from the following web site. It’s a very useful site. Thanks.

My sound stopped workin after an update. It says No audio output device is installed? What do I do to get it working again?

Go to Gabriel Topala's website and get SIW. Siw under hardware will tell you what device specifically is in your PC. Then you go to the website for the manufacturer, get the driver and the install manual, and install your audio device.

If you need further help please get back to me I CAN help solve this problem.

No audio out put device is installed

You need to install the correct audio driver for your Vista lap top. The make and model of the laptop would make it easy for us to point you directly to them via a link.

You can verify your audio device is configured or not in "Device Manager".

No audio output device installed

Where are you checking? In the Device Manager?
Go there and disable the sound device and then reboot and enable it again. (If you get there and see a device disabled, just enable it and check again to see if you have sound).
Try this and report back if you still have problems.
Please be aware that Microsoft has an excellent online troubleshooter for Vista available here

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread. If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take a moment to kindly rate this post....thanks!
