Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Can i download software for my hitachi hdc-1296er

You don't need any special software.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what said first, you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

Cables go where?

something like this but yellow instead of red?

754d38c.jpg
I cannot find any specs on the camera so.... you need to somehow confirm I am right... easiest way is to connect the cable to your TV and put the camcorder in play back mode and see if you can watch/hear the recorded video...

The yellow is composite video and the white is mono audio by convention.

If you want to feed this into you PC you need something like THIS

Post back results so I know if I helped or if you need more solutions...
