Question about Canon PowerShot A410 Digital Camera
The camera always asks for the date and time settings to be re-entered every time it is switched on. Is there a solution for this?
The date battery needs to be replaced. It is a coin-type battery, CR1220. It fits in a holder that slides out from the bottom of the camera, opposite the side from the battery cover for the regular batteries. When putting the new battery in the holder, the negative side of the battery should be visible. Illustrated instructions are on page 87 of the Advanced User Guide.
