I HAVE 42 INCH MAGNAVOX PLASMA TV AND THE SOUND WORKS BUT THE TV DOES NOT SHOW A PICTURE AT ALL IT IS JUST ALL BLACK,COULD IT BE THE PICTURE TUBE THAT WENT OUT.


yes...the video card could have gone out but most likely you have a connection that is loose or bad. I would check those first. If you have done so then I would try another video port and verify that it is the screen that is out and not just the port you are in.

My tv which is phillips has sound but no picture,there is two red lights on the front that comes on ,one is for power but what is the other one
