How do i connect my wireless keyboard to my toshiba dx735?

The wireless keyboard should have come with an adapter that plugs into one of the usb ports of the computer. The wireless keyboard also needs a battery.

If you ask me the wireless keyboard and mouse are a waste of money because just when you need them to work, the battery goes dead at a critical time. Also, if I've got to be sitting right next to the computer to use them, why not use a dependable wired product?

Just make sure you know where the wired keyboard is, because you're going to need it.

some computers are sensitive to unplugging USB-adapters if you not do that in safe-mode you can have the USB-ports circuit burned.

Lost my set up directions...can't connect mouse or keybord...they only have usb ends.

Hi ebdaly...
Most all keyboards and mouse connections now are usb connected.
Just plug the usb from the keyboard or mouse into a usb port on the computer and you should be good to go.
The drivers for the keyboard and mouse are built in to your computer if you have XP/Vista/7,so they are "plug and play" items
If it does not work on your computer then you will have to have an adapter like the one show below for the mouse and keyboard, you can find these at Walmart,Staples,OfficeDepot, this one is from ebay.

The mouse works but when we type on the keyboard, nothing happens

Hi. Well you didn tell what kind of keyboard are you using. Is it a USB or a wireless. I am assuming that it is a USB keyboard.
  1. 1st of all check whether the key board is properly plugged in2 your machine properly, check for loose connections.
  2. Check whether you have plugged it into the correct port, because usually the the internet keyboard do not adapt to the USB port, and a PS/2 to US adapter port wont work.
  3. Download and install the latest Keyboard Software
  4. Before installing the new driver dont forget to uninstall the previous one, install the new one and reboot.

USB Keyboard and mouse wont work with PS2 KVM with adapter

Have you tried rebooting once it is connected? Not sure if it makes a difference, but I know you can not hook up PS2 peripherals without rebooting.

I'm hooking up my Memorex wireless keyboard and mouse. I hooked up the two pieces coming off the wireless receptor to the computer and now I can't get the mouse and keyboard to work. Do I press the button...

There should be a connect button on both the receiver unit that is plugged into the usb port, and on each device (Mouse, and Keyboard) you will have to press all of these again to reconnect the devices to the computer.

Keyboard intermittent

There might be a problem with the keyboards PS2 port. You can bypass the PS2 port all together by buying a PS2 Y-adapter to usb port. This Y adapter will allow you to plug your PS2 mouse & keyboard into it and than you plug the other end into a free usb port. You do not have to plug the PS2 mouse in if you do not want to. Just plug in the keyboard. If your keyboard functions than there is a prolem with the keyboard's PS2 port. The PS2 Y-adapter to USB runs about $12.00 to $15.00. You can find one at Wallmart.
