Vacuum motor is running at a very high pitch (by 3 users)

Our less than one year old 2961 AVZ recently started running at a very high pitch. The belt is good, there is no obstruction in a hose or filter. We have pets and do vacuum up pet hair. The noise from the motor is horrible. You need ear plugs when running. Still works fine.

works ok, when its on its as loud as a frieght train. you need ear plugs.i think the roller is viberating somehow. the ends that hold it arent as tight as they w ere when i bought it.

I have the same problem. I've isolated it to the suction motor. I think its a bearing.
