im sorry to tell you this but you will have to get a whole new drumset because nobody sells just a yellow symbol. (this has happened to my friends before and they had to buy new sets.)
How did you break the wire?
The best I can suggest is that since the drum kit is still under warranty, take it back to the store you bought it from and get it replaced. Be sure to take of the selotape beforehand since it will look like the drum kit has been tampered with.
You may be connected to the out ports of the composit jack instead of the in ports. You can tell near the jacks that you plug the wii into you will see audio in and out as well as video in and out. Make sure it is in the in ports.
I guess he was unaware that there is some kind of filter on the mic. It would only go on when he spoke directly into it. I think he might have had it a bit to far away. Also, he didn't know that the circle symbol that appeared until he spoke was the idol symbol. The speaker symbol would come up when he spoke. His cousin helped him out.
Something to try is just leave the xbox on for an hour, turn off let cool for 5 min. If that doesn't work, it's a difficult solution to recommend but the towel trick' does work, let it over heat the 360 for about 20
min, then let it cool for 20 more min, and it now works fine, I have a
inner cooler now to keep from overheating again.
Depends what t.v. your using try posting another thread there maybe you will get better results.
Heres some things i can think of
try playing through channel 3 instead of 4 or vice versa, try playing on video or input mode. if your using a cable adapter try tilting it or screwing it on tighter.
