Generic problem for all Watches

I have a battery operated

posted by tinomalino on Jul 26, 2008

I have a battery operated wrist watch which periodically stops. once the winder pin is pulled out, and pushed back in, the watch temporarily runs again. Each time the watch stops, i have to repeat the pull out/push in of the winder pin in order for it to run. Apart from the battery possibly need replacing, can you suggest what the problem could be? Thanks.
