What are you worried about, having pixtures if her friends can recognize you (or at least your siblings?)

Rebooting rarely deletes all information on your computer; and you're supposed to have backups of important things vaulted, too.  Failing that, pay your local tech fixit people or friends to get you square if you don't have time to read up on the system you use, and get things sorted, photo sent to the printer, backups planned; if it's sure harder than that, better send your drive off to the forensic drive recovery firm at hand.

Dear sirs, went to alaska & took pictures with, how do I transfer them to the computer?thank you bill johnson.

When you get them developed ask for the cd option.

Most film developers offer the photos on cd option from regular film for a small extra cost.

If you have already had them developed, you can take the negatives back to the developer, and they can still do the cd transfer.

Otherwise you will need a scanner to put your pictures on your computer. The scanners cost $60 and up, and take hours of your time,

Good Luck!

I have a Cannon oes digital camera. Please keep in mind I am a rookie. My daughter is a gymnist and during her meets i am not permitted to use the flash. I have the setting on action with manual focusing....

The problem is that there's only so much light available indoors. Since you can't add light, there's only two things you can do to get the faster shutter speeds needed to stop the action.

One is to use a faster lens. Unfortunately, such things can cost as much as $2000, so unless _Sports Illustrated_ is paying for your pictures, this may not be a feasible alternative.

The other option is to raise the ISO setting, increasing the sensitivity of the sensor to light. Unfortunately, this will also increase noise, in effect amplifying the static.

Unfortunately, the laws of physics are a bit difficult to circumvent.

Someone recently gave me an old Pentax with new film. After 15 pictures, when I try to **** it, there is no resistance and the film does not advance. ?

It can be 3 things: 1.- Film sprockets are broken. 2.- Film sproket's carriers in the camera is broken. 3.- Film sproket carrier's mechanics ate broken. Unloadeit in complete dark and you can touch if film is broken, that would be the best case scenario.

How old is the film in camera & when did you put in the film?

Polaroid's battery is built in with the film package.
If the package is old or been in the camera for a long time battery may be low or dead.

Try changing film out.

Good Luck! Hope this helped. Please rate.

Help with Polaroid 600 film choices & how to use One Step Cameras

the flash will work when you put film in. the film has a battery and the camera works off the battery in the film. the arrows make the picture dark or light.
the polaroid spectra onyx made in 1987 is a totally sharp and beautiful looking camera. you also can put filters on the front of it. this camera was used by law enforcement many years ago so it is made very steardy and well. i own one myself and the pictures are perfect everytime. look this camera up on Ebay, you will not be disappointed.

also, here is a website for you to look up film information

this website will have everything you need and more

Polaroid Pictures

Hello dapnoh1969,   I also have old negatives, prints and Polaroids. I invested some money into an Epson Perfection scanner and am now copying all my neagtives, slides, Polaroids, prints to my computer. I also had to buy a larger external harddrive to save all my pictures, but the results are great. If you don't feel like investing into a scanner and other peripherals, may I suggest your local photo lab. They could probably drum scan your Polaroids into 100 MB Tiff's and blow them up to poster size. The last idea is a bit more expensive. Hope this helps.

Fuji Finepix 40i - Read error

These cameras only have a short life span, and I would say yours is about due. We had a 1.3mp digital camera until recently and it started doing the same thing. As digital cameras are so cheap now I would recommend having a look at a new one.

The only thing you could try is to get a new memory card as the cards may be damaged, but this may be throwing money away if you can't use the new card in another camera. It will depend on what type of card it uses, as most of the new cameras use a different type than the older ones.
