Question about Medion MD-40954 Notebook
I have a medion mim2080 not a bad pc for needs but i have a 40gb hard drive, I would like more internal is it poss ?????
Well first thing i did was changing the Hard-drive (only to 60GB)
And installed Win XP Prof (don't know if it works with your WinXP home license though.)
Meanwhile I put in a new Display (same resolution, but more bg-light)
More Ram (1Gb now (2x512))
I even replaced the Processor with a Pentium M 1,4GHz (Centrino)
Everything's working fine
(only the CPU-fan acts a bit weird: watching High-Res-Pictures fast one after the other, the fan turns on and of each a new picture opened)
Now I'm thinking about putting in a 2GHz Pentium M
( and maybe changing the Wireless-card to on with two antennas)

Yes. You can get a bigger hard drive for it, no prob, 60, 80, 100, 120 is the biggest for these I believe, but I could be wrong. I've found that pricewatch.com has the best prices on hard drives.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer

The information is normally free of
I hope this helps.
