Unfortunately tony if it was a hard install all your info will be gone and you will not be able to get it back as I said if it was a soft install you can search it in the way i described if you can't find it doing that it is gone forever. I'm sorry to hear about your mum and the fact someone has lost your pictures of her in this way but if it was a full restore it would have formated your drives and drivers which dumps everything and starts again set to factory. The only other thing I can think you may be able to do but won't work if it was a hard restore is to go to control panel and restore your pc to a earlirer date but if it was a hard restore this will only take you back to the date this was done and the restore was completed. I will how ever make a few enquiries with a few more computer techs and see if there is any possible way known to retreive this info but to my knowledge if you do a hard restore it is gone, Unless you can retreive the fragmented info on the hard disc so do not defrage your drive. I will see if you will be able to and if I can get you a program to do it with but no promises. Once a gain I'm very sorry to here this, it makes me very sad to know this could have happened and god willing it never happens to me because I save all my pics of my grandparents who have already passed on my hard drives to and I can't replace them either.

Tony if you want your pictures of *********** and all the other pictures you had back the only thing I can suggest is you send your hard drive away to vantage tech. They have a web site you can visit and a number you can call but they will need the info I asked for. thier address is www.vantagetech.com and thier Phone number is 800 487 5678. This is why I wanted to know what country you are in. They are a usa company I believe but if you are not in the usa or canada let me know and I will try to find you another way, or another company.

Computer monitor wont connect pc

If your monitor works on another computer it sounds like a fault on your computer. It could be the video card circuits or the motherboard. This is probably troubleshooting for a professional. Sorry.

How to get a death certificate of person

This can be obtained at the declarative site of pronunciation, preferably, the hospital were the deceased was transferred to after the death occurred. After the autopsy has been administered, the certified death certificate will be formed and filed at the participating hospital/legal outfit.

Once these formalities/procedures have occurred, you can obtain this document, via your local law firm or walk-in appointment with the local medical establishment/records office.

I need to know how to reset bios password on a Dell Inspiron

you have forgotten the password?

one way is to simply remove the bios battery (remove the PC from power) and hook a paperclip (very carefully of course) around the 2 sets of terminals where the bios battery would usually go.. leave it for a good half hour to an hour to ensure all the circuit power has been drained, out the battery back in and boot it, you should hopefully be able to get in!

you might also reciave a message along the lines of "CMON checksum error, defaults loaded" - this is good it means the bios has been reset.

good luck

Restoring to factory settings

What Operating system? If it's XP start hitting F8 as it begins to boot and see if it will start up in Safe Mode.

Does she use it online? It could be a virus. If you have antivirus software and it boots in Safe Mode perform a scan.

Do you have the OS installation CD? If it's XP you can try a repair function.

Give us more info please.
