What do you mean? is it reinstalling the whole package with the drivers and software? or the drivers and software only?

    Just go to support.hp.com then download the latest drivers for your computer and printer. Do not forget to select the correct language, operating system, type of printer that you have, and the driver that is compatible for your operating system.

The drivers can be downloaded from HP's web site;

Select 'Support & Drivers', then enter your printer model (Deskjet F1400 Series).

HP Deskjet F4100 Series willnot print..uninstalled and reinstalled...still nothing
HP printers are interesting.
Uninstall the printer, now disconnect it and reboot.
Install the drivers WITHOUT plugging the printer in until it tells you to do so.

I have found that this problem is usually caused by installing the driver with the HP printer connected.
