I have Sony NW-E503 (256 MB) MP3 Player. I have a problem when am charging my walkman I get a message "CHARGE ERROR". Can someone help me solving this problem? I am charging my player with...

I'm sorry that the Player is not charging as expected. It is possible that the usage of non-original cable will give the Charge Error. Please follow the below troubleshooting steps and check the operation before purchasing the original cable to make sure that the issue is not with the player or the connectivity.

  1. Please make sure that the USB connection to the Computer is secure and firm.
  2. Try connecting the player to a different USB port on the Computer.
  3. Avoid connecting to USB hubs.
  4. Try removing other USB devices otherthan keyboard and mouse.
  5. Restart the Computer and try again.
  6. Try connecting to a different Computer to confirm the issue is not with the Computer.

Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications.

Had pawned ipod touch for 3 months in which that tjme i for got my 4 digit code computer i used to with it burned out and it keeps saying its disabled go to itunes which ive done to know surprise i still...

According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the following:
Connect your IPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one IPod synced with), and open iTunes.
When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked.
If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod.
Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod.
If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this:
1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone.
All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data.
2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer.
3. Open iTunes and synchronize.
Apple also notes that company "representatives cannot unlock an iPod if you forget your combination. If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the
IPod, which will erase all music and data."

I have an nano ipod and I can not transfer songs from my computer using windows 7 to my ipod. The computer sync says to connect device and the ipod is say connected, but nothing is saying it is connected...

Be sure you have the latest version of iTunes. You can also try downloading software called Songbird. If none of this works do a hard reset of your iPod and put it into disk mode. You won't lose any of your songs.
1. Disconnect from the computer.
2. Press and hold the center and menu button until the Apple appears on screen
3. Before the Apple is gone, press and hold the center and left back button until it says "Disk mode".
4. Connect and try transferring songs.

If that works, you'll have to reset after you're done. Hope I've helped, I work on iPods and they can be a real pain.

Computer not detecting

In order to force the computer to reocgnize the device so that you can run the Philips Device Manager and repair your player, Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
