Hello abcfactor2003 i agree that you have lot of space in memory card but have you checked the phone memory? When you recieve any blueetooth message it is recieved in message box have you checked that in message box you are using phone or a card with you problem i probably think that you are using phone memory in message so what you do is open message goto option than setting than others than select memory in use select memory card now you can recieve songs videos as much as memory card is free (Regards Paljor Lama)

My nokia 3110c mobile is getting hanged if i am opening contacts...and also cant see missed calls or received calls..calculaor has stoped workin..pls help me

HI there,
This problem comes when phone memory is full, Please delete or move any pictures or videos you have saved in phone memory to memory card, or external source via connecting to PC. Other possibility is that you have so many sms messages in your inbox, and normally when you switch on your cellphone, it will take around 15 to 20 minutes to load sms memory, and when you try to open inbox, It gives you error that memory not ready, Solution: Remove the sim card, and switch on the phone, wait until it fully initializes and takes phone memory intact, like when you are able to open sms messages, For checking free space in phone, Open Messages Go to options, > Memory status, it will show you the Total memory status of your phone, including free space, If you require your sms, take a backup on computer, via connecting your phone to Nokia PC Suite, and delete all unnecessary items in phone memory including SMS, in this phone there is a limitation of sms moving to memory card, so frree up space in phone memory and restart once, and you should be able to use phone features without any problem,
If you require more assistance, feel free to reply to this post,
Thanks for contacting FixYa!
Regards, BA

I am trying to recieve a song through blue tooth and the phone is sayin it hasnt enough memory left when it really has 6 mg left

It depends on the phone memory and also depends on the song how many bytes would it require. So what i can suggest you is that just check your phone memory and also the size of the song so that you will get an idea of what is wrong. If the free memory is less then the required memory then thats the problem you are facing. I hope this will help you in solving your problem.

Memory problem when transffering files through blue tooth, 'memory full' message was shown. but memory card usage inicates there is ample memory

You need to set your SMS inbox to be stored on the memory card.

To do this:
  1. Go to the messages in main menu
  2. Hit options
  3. Choose settings
  4. Choose "others"
  5. Then choose Memory card as storage device
You are getting the message because the images are being sent to the phone memory.

Cheers

I can't receive any mp3 songs and pictures via bluetooth

when it ask passcode, its an security protection, u'll just have to input any number, and same as to the other phone. like 1234 and you'll input the 1234 passcode on which phone you are pairing with, try changing you setting in your message setting cause, mostly when via blue tooth it stores on your inbox.

Less inbox capacity.

Isn't it the phonebook memory that can save up to 250 entries?
If it's the sim, what you have to do is transfer all important items to a different storage like phone numbers, emails, etc. Then delete all the entries in your sim and in your phone. Like a clean-up,next is insert our sim again and observe the performance of SMS memory, U better avoid downloads this time to see the problem.

The sim's SMS memory also depends on the phone you are currently using with your sim cause your phone might can't support such storage though it is a new unit.
Like for example if u'll use that sim to an old phone, the SMS memory will be limited.
U must also consider that new phones reserves less memory for messages than for the new application features. And 1 more thing, some phones has multiple inboxes up to 3 so the storage could be devided to 3 too. Check on that also.
There might be hidden files on your phone so better reset it.
