The switch is out of order. if yopu know, go to the junk yard get a used one put in, the part which you get must be same as yours.

Hi i have dawalance spirit ac 1.5 ton it is not working when out door take start after 2 minutes its again turn off and only fan is working tell me reason

Test microFn on capacitor(located in top of outdoor unit) if it test correctly then test Oms of compressor. I don't know this brand of A/c unit but it can also be LP cut out switch. If there's a gas leak and the pressure is to low safety switch kicks in and stops compressor from starting up.

Hope this was useful

My ac unit out side has power but does not turn on ... Why?

Hi!!

There are a few things that can cause the compressor/condenser fan no to start.

1 - Faulty thermostat control unit. Take wall thermostat switch cover off and check for continuity on terminals R and G and R and Y while termostat is in the AUTO/COOL setting.

2 - System Low/High pressure. Check refrigerant pressure, if too lowor too High, Low Presssure or High Pressure Switch will not let compressor kick in.
3 - Start up selenoid and/or transformer defective.
4 - Defective capacitor. Check capacitance, it should be +-5% of the capacitors rating. Rating is stated on capacitor's label.

Keep me posted

Friedrich xq08m10 - f2 and f3 fan speeds reversed

Unplu cord and remove front panel. Then remove electrical box, you should be able to find the blower motor leads.
Black is usually- hi speed motor
Blue or Yellow is- Medium Speed
Red is- low speed
Just exchange the wires to match the dial

Outside ac compressor not kicking on when ac turned on

Most of the time the capasitors are bad but it could be that the commpressor is bad or if it is a heatpump the low pressure switch could have it locked out or the contactor could be bad also

RV AC, how to wire fan (blower) motor to capacitor.

You almost have it Look closer at the run capacitor. It has Herm, this is for the compressor, Com or C and F or Fan.

1 of your power wires is the fan speed so connect them accordingly usually black is hi, blue med, & red is low. You are "feeding" voltage to the selector switch on 1 side and coming out to the fan motor speeds.

Next you have a "Common" wire on your fan motor (this means its Common to all the other connections inside the fan motor to me. It is usually white. Connect this to the other line of power usually the Com on the capacitor unless it connects to a strip on the selector switch. But 1 of these 2 places will be the other side of your Power when plugged in. Lastly the brown it is usually the fan capicator only wire and it will connect to the fan "F" terminal on the capicator this terminal will not have any other wires connected to it.

This should make you a happy camper. Please rate me accordingly and good luck.

Did it just start to do this, or has it always been that way? Are you original owner? Did it work fine before? Make, model# of AC unit & thermostat would be of help too.

Duo-therm by dometic ac rv unit

I suspect that you have a bad selector switch for the on, off, low fan, high fan operation. If the selector switch is put into the off position everything should stop completely.
