Profile pictures do not come up for people I am chatting with and vice versa. Before I downloaded the update for the messenger they were showing. how do I get the profile picture to show?

-Ensure if you have the latest yahoo mail version. If not you can update it from yahoo.

-Try to update your contacts from messenger if you're using website for it. And vice versa.

-Update your "Java" software as yahoo uses Java software for mailing.

Try reinstalling the gtalk. And you can also use notable IM(Internet Messengers) like Digsby,Trillian, Nimbuzz etc etc. These IMs have a notable great interface and also provide some additional functions compared to the stock chat apps.

Check first if you are inputting the correct password. Next try going in to Messenger>Connection Preference> then Click No Proxies

If this won't work, try No Network Detection instead.

Last resort is to check your Internet Explorer settings by going to Tools>Internet Options>Connections>Settings

Then check Automatically Detect Settings.

Also do this again - Tools>Internet Options>Connections>

Then this time click LAN Settings and check Automatically Detect Settings

Click Apply and then try logging in to Yahoo Messenger again.

Once you download and install the PC Sync Software, you are ready to transfer the pictures from Computer to KG290 or vice-versa.

yahoo mail chatting is done inside your yahoo mail account. It is located on the right side of your account name on the top portion of the page.
You can chat easily with other user listed on the contacts of your mail account. However, if your mail chat is enable, you will be log out from yahoo messenger and vice versa. So it is better to choose which one is your priority and disable the other one.

well you just need to do is.. download newer version of Yahoo messenger.. now uninstall your older version ,, then install this latest version that you download and enjoy voice chat... :D cheers

Download Yahoo Messenger (www.yahoo.com) . Create a free ID on yahoo as ask the other person to do the same. Install Yahoo Messenger and Login using your ID and start IM conversation. You will get a webcam button on the IM (instant Messenger) window . Click on that and the other person will see you and vice versa. This is just one way, there are other messengers too and gmail too offers video conversation in its mail. So enjoy

i think u cant find the sophisticated softwares pertaining to samsung in the net . So do a thing . get a bluetooth device connected to ur pc. Install the necessary drives for the bluetooth device . now switch on the bluetooth in ur phone ,,,, and transfer ur pictures via bluetooth

Web Camera's have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.

A. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/ )
set it up as follows:
Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
Then click on the Video Settings.
The camera, if Installed Properly, it will come up and show a video picture.
Then, on the bottom of the page click save.
The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to see and hear you.

B. Yahoo Setup:
After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger (http://www.soft32.com/download_30.HTML )
set it up as follows:
Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
Next "Calling and Devices" on the right, set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card or headphones/mike.
Next go to the Test Audio section below where you just setup the microphone & speaker and (written in blue) click on "Open the call setup assistant"
and the "Yahoo Call Setup Assistant" window will open to the left and follow the the instructions. Click on FINISH and the audio will be setup.
Next go to "Webcam" and click in the circle "Allways allow the following people to view my webcam.
Next Click on "Super Webcam" snd in the circle click "Start Super Webcam mode automatically".
Then click OK and it should work.

C. Windows Live Messenger:

After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on top left next to the red X.
Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on " "Show Menus." And then click on "Show the Menu Bar".
Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on " "Action."
Go to "TOOLS" and click "Audio and Video Setting" and follow the instructions.
NOTE: Your audio and video should work. Enjoy.
When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.

D. AIM (AOL) Messenger:

On the VIM sign-in window, click on Edit.
Then click on Settings Enhanced IM.
Next click on Enhanced IM.
