Does your dishwasher run during wash cycle? then,
Check drain hose by try this, loose the clip that hold your drain hose firmly from your dishwasher side, check carefully if no debris blocked the hose connector, water suppose to come out from that connector if it does, your drain hose was blocked with debris or mold and particles like coffee seeds etc.removed them connect the hose back run the dishwasher.

If that does not solve your problem check under your dishwasher, there's a timer activated drain solenoid that opens a drain valve to drain the wash water through a hose.
Replace it.

It is not an allen wrench you need but a torx wrench (looks like a 6-point star). DO not try af open with an allen wrench or you will strip the screws.

I am putting in new Granite Counter Top but I do not have my DIshwasher yet. Do I need to have them drill a hole for the dishwasher airgap? If so, how large? Thanks

I have had several dischwashers over the years and none have required any ventilation holes in the worktop.

I am an odd job man and have never seen any such holes in any of the houses that I have visited, so I think that you can safely forget about it.

What is error code 3 on the Miele dischwasher?

I dont think that the error code is 3 it must be 13.

If it is 13 then, this error is a flow meter error. You will need to pull the dishwasher out and it on the side there is no way to reset it it will need to be replaced fairly common issue.

Remedy is to open the stop clock fully - clean the water inlet filter - th e water pressure at intake is lower than 30kPa (0.3 bar)

I need to look at bosch SHU5312UC exploded viewe of the door

Hello,

I think I know the pieces you are referring to and you can only install them one way. I can direct you to searspartsdirect.com and if you enter your model number you should have access to several breakdown illustrations of your d/w however, I`m here to tell you, don`t sweat it. Most illustration`s I`ve seen don`t even show them either.

Those two blocks ( which slide into the front of the hinge behind the door panel by the way ) can remain left out without any functional consequence to your dishwasher. In fact the regional training representative for north america used to joke with us techs how he had a collection of them from tossing them into his toolbox instead of putting them back in place. They do increase the structural support of the front panel, but unless you plan on moving it around frequently, I wouldn`t worry about it.

If you are still concerned, post back with your email and I can send you a complete repair guide in "pdf" format for your dishwasher.

Hope this was helpful to you. Thank you for coming to "fixya" and please let me know if I/we can assist you further in this matter. Please take a moment and rate the info I provided for you here today.

Good luck.

macmarkus :)

It does not heat up or dry the dishes

Depending on the make of your DW, the Heating element inside the bottom of your DW might be at fault.
Your may have a fuse that connects to the heating element that may have blown- relace fuse.
Check the heating element to make sure it is functional.
go to Appliancepartspros.com and enter your model number and find schematics of your DW to see where these things are on your DW

Sink was pluged plunged and now the dischwasher will not fill it's keeping draining the water out all the time

Bosch has a safety float switch under the dishwasher basin. If water leaks into this area, the float rises and turns on the drain pump to clear out the water in the dishwasher. Hope I explained that ok :)
Anyways, usually a leak somewhere causes this and unless the leak is fixed and water is removed or evaporates, the dishwasher will remain in the drain cycle.

My Bosch dischwasher is not draining completely. I've taken out the mesh filter and the square plastic drain cover. Should I unbolt the white cover which I presume covers the drain? thanks!

I had the same problem, twice. Both times, the technician simply removed the drain hose and cleared it of a small food particle. Save yourself the service charge by unhooking the hose yourself, clearing it and rinsing your dishes THOROUGHLY before washing.
