Error E511 relates to the PCU (not detecting the transfer belt rotating). This appears to be common. Sometimes the belt can slide on the rollers to the left, thus the square metallic reflective spot on the belt does not pass over the TR0 sensor, no amount of cleaning will cure this, you either need to strip the top cover off hte PCU (6screws) and pull the belt back over to the left or replace the PCU all together. BTW PCU stands for Photoconductor Unit if you didn't know.
E511 is a TRO sensor error (cannot detect rotation of PCU belt), don't panic its probably just a dirty sensor. Turn off & raise the scanner unit fully & open the top printer cover. Lift the orange lever and lift the PCU out of the printer using the strap. First of all turn the PCU onto its back but avoid any bright light on the blue roller (it's called the "Drum" and it is light sensitive and very easily scratched so be careful with it and avoid touching the blue surface if possible). Rotate the white plastic gears at the ends of the drum until a little silver square appears in the cut-away section of the cover, this reflects the light onto the sensor so make sure it is cleaned with a soft cloth. Next look inside the printer and you will see a metal strip running across from side to side, mounted on this is the TRO sensor. Give this a clean also with the cloth. One more thing to clean is the sensor at the back, you will see a small black plastic spring loaded lever, push this down and wipe the sensor. Do not try to lift the lever back into position, it will spring back when the PCU is refitted. Refit the PCU, close the covers and give it a try.
If still not working the cause is either a faulty MCU board or possibly a faulty PCU, but to be sure it will need checking by a repair tech as diagnosis by email is difficult.
Good luck, please take a moment to rate this solution, thanks.
The E511 error for your Epson Aculaser in most cases means that its motor has malfunctioned or something is preventing the motor from working properly.
Try reseating all the toners, as well as the photoconductor unit. If all fails do a reset using the panel. Call manufacturer for 562-276-4382 for step by step instruction.
