Singer 7462 Mechanical Sewing Machine

Singer merritt 8834 sewing machine slows then stops

I have a singer merritt 8834 with no manual it was handed down, I don't want to pay for a manual does anyone have one or know were I can download a free one. My problem is that it sews fine then in just about a minute it slows down and then after a few more minutes it almost comes to a full stop. I noticed it the needle goes fine when I am threading a bobbin but when sewing material it does the slowing down thing and fnally a stop....HELP. I tried to oil but I am not sure if I oiled correctly without a manual....

If you e-mail me I will attach a list of sites for manual and some can be downloaded for free, if the machine is slowing down even though you have oiled it you may have a motor problem.

If you still need the Manual E-mail me @ goldengoose001@yahoo.com be sure to put in comment part of e-mail something Like "Looking for a singer 8834 manual" as I delete all e-mail without reading them unless I know the person or what e-mail is about and know its safe , and even then I scan all and report any found to have viruses , etc
