If you have the remote, press the menu button and look for the demo mode settings or try turning your cd player with your ignition switch on but not crunk, press and hold the volume dial and wait for the demo mode settings to show up and turn the dial until the demo mode is disabled.....
I hope this helps you out bro, it's the only information that I could find on that unit.
Hold down the menu button for about 2 seconds.
Will take you to menu mode, first option should be demo, if not scroll over to demo menu
by using the know. Push the knob in to enter the mode, then using the knob get to off display, push the know in once again to set it to off. After hit the menu button to get out of menu mode.
hold SEL until menu appears Using the
scan button (FWD/REV), select Demo Using the
volume knob, set it to off Using the
scan button (FWD/REV), select Clock h or clock m Using the
volume knob, set the value Press SEL to save and exit
you have to go into the main menu of the cd player. find demo mode and hold your knob down for like 5 seconds should turn it off. not too shure about the demo mode in that particular cd player but that is how it is with kenwoods brand new........or look in your cd player owners manual and find the section on DEMO MODE then go through the steps to turn if off.
Turn the unit onto standby then press and hold the menu button then scroll down to demo using the toggle switch on the right then press and hold the toggle switch for a few seconds and it will change to demo off. It's not too difficult but you are correct, it doesn't tell you correctly in the installation instructions.
Mine would do the same thing. What you need to do is turn the unit off and it should go into demo mode. There is an option for "reverse mode on or off" make sure it is turned off. I beleive you will have to hit the band button to change it.
