Problem for Canon CanoScan LiDE 30 Flatbed Scanner
CanonScan Lide 30 flatbed
Installed with help of Canon new vista drivers for miy new Presario Compaq computer.
Was installed succcessfully, but HP does not communicate with scanner.
Yet, installed same scanner on my compaq windows 2000 and works find.
Canon tech tells me to get new updated controller dirvers for my for my imaging device (canon scanner).
HP informs me that there is no such drivers available.
Please advise

You need the software called "Canoscan toolbox"...click on the link below and then select your operating system...you can also get the driver for the LIDE 30 on this page:
