You can't do that. Leaving the cumulative figures is to prevent F.R.A.U.D. You either do a Factory Reset and clear everything, or you leave it. The only remaining data is number of Z Readings and the Cumulative Cash Total.
simply push in the tiny reset button on the back near the power jack, with a small pin or paper clip, for about 20 seconds, this will reset back to defaults, of 192.168.0.1 and username : admin password: admin
look online for the default address book password, often IT guys and techs dont ever change these, as there is little point.
common ones, 1234 12345 0000 admin , a quick search online for "default password for ????" should provide this info.

Since you bought the device used, it's likely the previous owner did not clear the passwords and data. Short of tracking down the previous owner, there is no way to unlock the unit without doing a factory reset. i had the sam problem and after many phone calls was able to solve it. go to settings, go to security, go to remove all personal info. follow directions the sim pin code is 0000. good luck and I hope this helps you.
Well the easiest way to start with a clean device is to perform a "Hard Reset".. This resets the phone back to the way it was when it came from the factory. It restores the Operating System BUT it deletes all the info YOU and the previous owner have put on. So before doing a hard reset move anything you want saved onto your PC. If there is nothing vital then go to:
Start>Settings>System(tab)> and click on clear storage.
All previous wifi and network settings will be removed. (All customisation and programs installed by you or the previous owner will also be removed)
If you need assistance in inputting the new settings then I suggest joining a support forum like www.xda-developers.com or Modaco etc.
Your HTC is also known as the Mogul or the Titan so on the forums it may be listed under these names.
