I am being asked for a password when trying to sync my phone to my pc. What format must the pastword be in?

To format it on a PC, simply insert it in your PC if you have a microSD slot, or use a card reader.
When you get the Removable Media driver simply right click and press "Format", press Format again on the menu and wait a few minutes. Then try it on your phone.

Hi, there's a method for recovering the password of your memory card with the help of Nokia s60 1st and 2nd edition phones:
1.First Install FExplorer in your phone memory, then go to drive C: ,and you will find a file called mmcstore
2. Send it to your pc directly and open it in notepad or rename the file.
3. At the end of the file you will find your password.

the only thing you can do is take the computer and your sales receipt back to where you got it and have them reset it. because of security issues and stolen computers, no one will do it unless you can prove its yours. sorry

if u have forgotten ur memory card password then i've got a trick for u... U can use computer...first connect ur mobile to computer through chord by selecting nokia pc suite...open nokia pc suite in ur computer...open the file manager...u'll see phone n memory card...its over nw u cn open ur memory card widout password... If u want to format u can...try it..!!

Take a backup of your MMC to your pc and then format your MMC and then insert it if its asking any password put 00000 or 12345. Mostly it wont ask you a password.then restore data to MMC

actually when you put password on memory card its store on phone memory so formating the phone also wipe your password,the only solution for that is try to restore your phone if you did backup your cell phone before formating,

Try formatting the same by ur PC using a SD card reader......

i have nokia 3110 classic mobile. the memory card is nokia. i set password for my memcard. i had a software problem with my phone. so i gave for installing sw for my phn. after installing the software, when i opened my mem card it asked password. but i forgot the password. so i wnt to format it. but for formatting also it asks password. pl solve my problem
