Is your network adapter disabled ?
do you have a static IP ?
can you ping the router ?
uplug the router and wait 2 mins the power it back up
it should give your machine a dynamic IP address
to find out what is is
go to run
at the prompt typr ipconfig /all
this will show all the connections and there IP addressess
