I was playing Fifa 08 when my console froze, i tired reseting it but it didn't. I then swiched it off from switch at back of the console, now my console dosen't read any games, music cd or dvd. pllllzzz help me.

Hello. When you put in a disc, listen for the disc to start spinning. If you do not hear that then the laser and/or the spindle have blown out. You will have to get your Blu-Ray player serviced by a pro or Sony. Sony may fix it for free. They know that the drives are failing. So call them first. I hope this helps! Good luck to you.

well the best way i know is to do the PS3 exchange program with Sony its only $150 to send yours in and get a refurbished one back, if you think about it the average blue ray drive will run you around $150 so you are better off in the long run to send the thing in for the exchange program...

ts a problem with the latest download update. sorry to say but its a
job for sony as long as its still under warranty. just phone them up
explain the probs your having and they will send you a new (normally
reconditioned) unit out. sony's replacement service is very good.
As far as I know the company who created the game is releasing a patch for it. btw what firmware you on?
