SOURCE: keurig coffee maker won't draw water from the resevoir

I just got mine to work by forcing water into the pump to force it to prime. I took a syringe for a meat injector and built a gasket so it would seal over the water intake. Then I forced several syringes of water into the pump till it finally picked up and caught its prime.

SOURCE: need parts list for ELITE B40 KEURIG coffee maker

Should be listed in your manual. If you need parts check this out.

This is actually an ebay store. They have any Keurig part you could possibly need! It's the only steady keurig part business operating right now. Prices are fair products are in great condition. Seller has 100% positive feedback with 100's of satisfied customers who voiced their opinions of them.

They have parts for Keurig B30 mini, B40 Elite, B60 Special Edition, B70 Platinum, and B77

SOURCE: How do I drain water

If leave it for a couple of months without using it, later on when you will need to use it again it by 95% it will be stuck. Their many parts related with water , 2 pumps, valves, jet pasages that even one of this goggled with a sales part then the machine will need complete desaesemble manual descaled and put back together.
So I sugest to find a way so that the machine keep work atleast once a week or even lent to a friend istead of put it on the shelf for long time.

SOURCE: platinum B70 keurig coffee maker water heats up

1. Power off machine.

2. Using a metal paperclip, insert it into left side of top needle. It must insert at least 1" deep. Insert it into slot on right side and again from back of needle.

3. Remove KCup cradle. Separate bottom from top. In the top section, insert the paperclip up into bottom needle from the bottom upwards. It will not go all the way thru and this is normal.

4. Reassemble KCup cradle and reinsert it back into coffee maker.

5. Power on machine.

6. Brew a cup of water only. There may be coffee grounds in the water and these should eventually clear during the remaining steps. NOTE: A large cup brew cycle should output a full 8 ounces (235cc). Less means there is still a blockage

How do I empty the water from the main reservoir?

  • Turn off the Keurig coffee maker, and unplug the power cord. Allow the unit to cool for 30 minutes before emptying the water. This gives the water inside the hot water tank an opportunity to cool, helping to prevent accidental scalding when emptying.
  • Pull the lid off the top of the water reservoir. Lift the water reservoir straight up and to the right of the coffee maker. Pour out any remaining water in the reservoir into the sink.
  • Turn the small thumb screw on the back of the Keurig coffee maker counterclockwise with your fingers, and pull off the rear access panel. If the screw is too tight to turn with your fingers, use a flat-head screwdriver to turn the screw. Once you remove the access panel, a tube with a plug on the end is visible. Pull the tube out of the plastic clip holder.
  • Place a large pitcher behind the coffee maker. Hold the end of the tube over the pitcher, and pull the plug out of the tube. Allow the water to drain into the pitcher. If necessary, maneuver the coffee maker to the edge of the counter, and hold the pitcher alongside the counter with the top at counter level.
  • Push the plug back into the end of the tube once no more water drains from the hot water tank. Empty the pitcher of water into the sink, and push the tube back into the plastic clip holder. Position the back access panel onto the coffee maker and secure with the thumb screw knob.
