Hi Friends,

When you are connecting the Belkin router in Wireless,if it asks for PIN Number then please follow the below mentioned standard steps,

Step 2:Open Internet Explorer and type 192.168.2.1 and click on Enter button in the keyboard.

Step 3:Now you will be able to see the belkin router page

Step 4:On your left side click on Wifi Protected Setup (WPS),now it will ask for password leave it blank and click on Submit.

Stpe 5:Now Change the WPS (Wifi Protected setup) to disable and click on Apply Changes.

Step 6:Now Try to connect the Wireless Networks in your wireless computer,it wont ask for PIN Number.

The above mentioned steps are the standard steps for the this problem. This is done because by default the belkin router's will be enabled with 2 security features so we have to disable any one of this feature. If you disable this then you wont have any Problem in the belkin router.

Follow this instructions:1. connect via hard wired connection (network cable)2. open your internet explorer or any browser.3. type the numbers 192.168.1.1 on the address bar4. you will be routed to your router's settings, type admin for USERNAME: and admin for PASSWORD.5. look for the basic setup/settings6. look for the wireless settings7. under your SSID comes the WEP or WPA-PSK option8. that is your wi-fi password, then modified it and remember the password you use for you will need to enter it on your pc when you are connecting via wireless connection.you can select ASCII for password. it should be alpha numeric or combination of letters and numbers.9. select saveand apply.then try to restart you tablet and search for new wireless networks, select your SSID or wifi's name, it will ask you to enter your passcode, enter the password you created under instruction #8 then select ok. then you are good to go.

I cant locate my disc to the Belkin G+ wireless router. I went to the default IP address and reset to default and now I cant get it to work as a wireless at all. Any suggestions?

setup manualy yuor router.

Symptoms

You need to restore the factory defaults using the web interface. This may be because the router is not performing as expected or you wish to remove all previously configured settings.

Setup steps:

  1. Connect the computer to one of the four LAN ports on the router.
  2. Open a web browser on the computer.
  3. In the address bar of the web browser, type http://192.168.2.1
  4. Click Login in the upper right-hand corner of the page. The router does not ship with a password, so just click Submit.
  5. after that you go to ssid and setup your network
  6. select your password us a 64bit wep
  7. disable WPS
  8. disable Firewall

and good luck finish.

Whilst online my connection went off using my belkin 54g, and wont let me connect again as it says, 'The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network'...Why...

That message means that your wireless security key has been changed to a different password. All you need to do is go to Network and Sharing Center > Manage Wireless Network, then delete all the listed wireless profiles there. Now click on Add > Add a Network that is in range of the computer > Choose your network and connect. Make sure to type in a correct network key. That should do it.
