Question about Printers & Copiers
I have a canon ir-c3100 copier which displays the error code
e000070-0002, with a little spanner logo at the beginning.
Could you please help me with what this means or direct to a source of
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The ITB or Intermediat Transfer Belt is slipping or not being driven properly. It is NOT fun to take out, particularly if you have a finisher attached. If you have proffessional experience with copiers and are really determined, let me know and I may be able to set you up with a manual. Otherwise, call a pro.

The error code referred to the Intermediate Transport Belt (information obtained from Fixya.com) I dismantled the machine and found a broken tension spring arm on the ITB. This piece needs replacing, but to save time I glued it and reassembled the unit. I has been working well for some weeks now. I hope this is off some help to others.
