Web Cam Mic

For some reason the mic on my labtec pro mic, will not work! I can get video but no sound. It was not new when a friend gave it to me. Has old age just killed it? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

yes, it also has issues of trying to just record videos. It freezes every time I try. . .

Is it activated in the sound controls as a microphone device?

WizGo to this website and download the new sotware for XP SP2 and update your software.

You must have DirectX 9.x or higher and Internet Explorer 6 or higher installed prior to installing this software. If you have Windows XP, you must have at least Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed.
