Normaly the factory defaults should be correct if the set is working properly. Most likely, you may be able to improve a little on it by manualy changing some of the settings. As the set ages and is used, some of the components and the display may change characteristics.

You should use the proper test patterns to adjust the set.

Properly adjusting a TV set can be fairly involved, and is beyond the scope of an acceptable size email.

To have high quality test patterns, it is possible to buy DVD disks with test patterns on them for all the standard type scanning and resolutions for your TV set.

Color settings for an older panasonic tv trying to adjust the color setting for this older panasonic tv, it seems the dark colors are really dark and there faces are really red. Model# CT-32g19j

This is not a projection set; but a picture tube set or CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) technology. If the set is working correctly you should be able to go into the menu and set the color, brilliance and contrast to get the right color and picture intensity. If the controls don't give you what is correct viewing it may be over age and need an adjustment of the internal chroma circuits - which may cost more than the set is worth since it is quite old. Hope this helsp.

Cantdisplay pic from pc to tv

To use a Panasonic Toughbook CF52 model
on a TV, you require a TV with a VGA Port.
The VGA port is a 15-pin female connector,
usually BLUE in color and you will require
a MALE-MALE VGA Cable which is also
BLUE color on the two ends.

The Panasonic has to be shut-off and the
cable connected to both the Toughbook and
the TV. Turn the TV on first and set SOURCE
on the TV Remote to "PC".

Then turn on the Panasonic Toughbook CF52.
If everything is properly connected then it
should switch automatically to the external TV.

Good Luck!

Setting Color on TV

Hi Amber3,

I would recommend reading the information available on Panasonic's website. There are links for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) which may be helpful.

The manufacturer's website lists in their FAQ the Panasonic plasma TVs include an enhancement feature for blue and green colors, and instructs how to turn the feature off if needed. Visit http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/vSupportFAQDetails?idval=UCM_PRD_CNT_001993&pagetitle=FAQs+for+Plasma+TVs&contentType=FAQ#tv17 to see what Panasonic recommends.

Thank you,
