I have a Canon Palm Printer P1-DH V and I have no idea how to set the tax.

On the Canon palm printer there is a Tax+ and Tax- button. Next to them buttons there is a RATE button. Press the rate button once, than type in your tax rate, than press the rate button again to store the rate. You than will be able to enter the amount you want to charge and hit + or - tax buttons to do the math.

The B-T button toggles between Business and Tax modes. When you press it, you should see the top of the display toggle between a "B" and a "T." Depending which mode you are in, you may be able to perform different operations.

I removed the ink cartridge from P1-DH-V and can't reinstall it!

Call Canon at 800-828-4040. Select technical support. You actually get a live person.

They can e-mail you the manual in PDF format. It takes about 5 minutes.

The manual is not available on Canon's site.

Setting tax rate on a canon P170-DH

To set the tax rate, slide the "GT" switch to RATE. Enter the tax rate (i.e., 4.5 for 4 1/2 %). The display should show 4.5 %. Slide the "GT" switch to OFF.
