I connected scanner to my computer.but when I try to scan the document it displays the scan gera error "an error has occured.turn off the device and turn back on.scanner driver will be closed.code 22500...please help

Try a new USB cable. Scanners require bidirectional communication with the computer and thus can fail when printer itself works. (If you use a print server or USB hub, try a direct connection.) Also try changing USB ports.
Another thing to try is to remove the TWAIN driver and reinstall it. This requires the original software CD from Kodak. 1. From your computer desktop, click Start > Run. (In Windows 7, type run in the search box then click on Run.) 2. Type %windir%, then click OK. 3. Double-click twain_32. 4. Right-click Kodak, then select Delete. 5. Insert the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software CD into the appropriate drive, then go to D: > printer > scanner. NOTE: The CD is indicated by D: above. The CD drive may be a different letter on your computer. 6. Double-click aioscannr.msi, then follow the instructions to remove it. 7. Go to D: > printer > scanner, then double-click aioscannr.msi, and follow the instructions to install the file. 8. Open Home Center Software: a. Select Scan Documents and Pictures. b. Scan a document.

This generally indicates a driver error. Download and run the Scan Diagnostic utility
Download the HP Scan Diagnostic utility .
When prompted, select Open or Run to start the download and run the installer, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
Try the scan again.
The Scan Diagnostic utility checks the physical connection between the device and the computer and address the issues with the following components of the scanning software:
PML (Printer Management Language)
Yellow DOT4 entries
HP Digital Imaging Monitor
Multiple HP Digital Imaging Monitors
If an error condition is identified with any of these items, a red X ( ) appears next to the item. If there is no error condition, a green check mark ( ) is displayed next to the item. Download the patch for HP Image zone/photo, imaging unexpected internal error and communications failure.
Double-click the patch to install it on the computer.
Try the scan again.
Try scanning without HP Imaging software Try to scan with the built-in feature of Windows operating system called Windows Image Acquisition (WIA). To perform a WIA scan, follow these steps.
Make sure the product is turned on.
Click Start , and then click Control Panel .
Click Printers and Other hardware , and then click Scanners and Cameras .
Look for an icon for the product.
If there is not an icon for the product, click here to uninstall and reinstall the software .
If there is an icon for the product, click the icon, and then follow the on-screen instructions to scan images or documents to the computer.
If you are receiving an Error Code 103 or a Paper Jam error,
but there are no pages in the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), follow
the steps below:
Close the scanning application (such as PaperPort)
Turn off the scanner and the computer
If you have a combination ADF with a Flatbed scanner, unplug the ADF cable from the base of the scanner
Plug the ADF cable back in
Turn on the scanner power
Turn on the computer
Try scanning again
For a Paper Jam or Error Code 103, make sure that the ADF cable in
the rear is connected to the scanner base. Check the flatbed to make
sure that it is clear. A page incorrectly placed on the flatbed may
interfere with a page feeding through the ADF.
If your scanner stops scanning due to a paper jam in the Automatic
Document Feeder (ADF), a warning dialog box appears after a few moments.
To clear a paper jam:
Open the Automatic Document Feeder cover.
Remove the jammed paper and close the cover.
If you are receiving a paper jam error, or if the scanner is
running continuously, check to make sure the paper sensor arm is not
Open the Automatic Document Feeder cover.
Look for the small black plastic arm
When you press on this arm, it should move freely up and down
If the arm is stuck down, please contact Technical Support for troubleshooting options
Does the scanner displays any error message on the scanner panel? Is there any TWAIN error message?
If paper jam occurs, U1 error will be displayed on the scanner panel and TWAIN driver will display " Paper jam the ADF (Code DS32002)" error message.
This error is detected when one of the followings occurs:
1) A document does not reach the TOP sensor while the scanner has transported the document about 250 mm to pick. (The scanner performs retry operation.)
2) The trailing edge of a document does not reach the TOP sensor after the scanner transports the document by the length (L) below. (The document may have slipped on the rollers) Scan condition Transported length.
In order to assist you with your scanner issue, Please provide the issue details with error message.
If nothing is being displayed, then the issue could be due to failure in Pick Motor function or Pick Sensor malfunction.
while i am trying to scan the images .. i am getting the error code like Code[ffff:0024] while warming up the scanner, besides a sound from the scanner making it power off (light inside the scanner goes off ) so that i could not get scanned anything ... what will be the reason ? please suggest me the trouble shoot kaarthik
