It sounds like there is water leaking onto the electrical circuits and tripping the earth leakage switch. Make sure that there are no leaks inside the machine and that all the wiring and circuits are dry before trying then machine again. A hair dryer is very good for drying out circuits.

Hotpoint H2O error

Please check on the water flow to the drum, if the flow is low or if the inlet is choked the water flow in the set time limit can be low and so could trip.
secondly it can be due to problems in the level sensor, try and see if the pressure switch works outside.
Finally check on the program controller unit once again to see the triping. check the door switch for loose connection.

Dishlex Global 310 dishwasher fills then stops with flashing "fast" light

Water-inlet valve The water-inlet valve lets water enter the machine. If this valve is defective, you need to completely replace it. It's usually located behind the lower access panel on the left or right side. It's the device with the main water line (usually copper) from the house, a rubber tube to the dishwasher, and two wires attached to it.

Float switch The float switch is a small electrical switch that's located right below the dishwasher "floor." Above the switch, on the inside of the dishwasher, is a plastic cylinder that floats up as water fills the dishwasher. If this switch is defective, or if the plastic float gets caught or trapped in the raised position, the water can't enter the dishwasher. If the float switch is defective, you need to replace it.

No power to machine. power socket is live as i have plugged in another appliance which works. does the machine have fuses?

Sounds like you need to have the mains suppressor checked out by an engineer.
Someone had this happen to them as well.
I checked fuses - ok I drained detergent water -ok I checked filter and pump - ok Machine will not start. Next step - contact customer service, however under the Sales of Goods Act 1979 I am contacting the supplier as the machine is new.
I hope you get your machine running soon.
Update The fault was as follows: Bosh Washing Machine WAE2446 Fault reported: DEAD Material: SUPPRESSOR Description: REPLACED FAULTY MAINS SUPPRESSOR
In a nut shell. The washing machine failed (went dead) because the mains suppressor was faulty. The suppressor normally filters out unwanted interference from the washing machine mains electrical supply. The part was replaced and the washing machine came back to life.

I have set the normal settings as per washing a medium set of washing. The water start filling the drum and approx. 5 sec. later the valve closes and an error PE shows on the LCD. What is the error?

You have not mentioned the make or model of the washer. But the fault relates to the failure of the inlet valve-- check if this gets heated up , if so the valve is short and is tripping the main controller.
Secondly the tripping is due to failure of the program controller unit, the main motor or the water level sensor. Finally make sure that the door switch is working.

Zanussi jet stream iz16s tripping ouy rcd once filled up with

Hello,
It would seem to me that the heating element needs replacing from the information you have supplied especially as it performs most of the other functions like filling and spin and drain.
Good luck

Bosch continues to fill when rinsing even when the machine is off

The inlet valve is stuck open most commonly , you can check this by taking the wires off the valve and then turn everything back on , if the water is still flowing replace the inlet valve.

No power to the main water valve during cycle.

I'm no expert, but I recently had a fill valve replaced. There is a float switch at the bottom of most dishwashers. Its purpose is to cut power to the normally-closed electrically-opened fill valve in the event of an overfill. If the float switch "thinks" there is an over-fill situation, it will cut power to valve, closing it. I would start with replacing the float switch or checking to ensure that it is not stuck in the "up" position due to debris.

Again, I'm no expert.
