Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Its a shame the litigation and settlement has expired as were legal consultants for the plaintiff side on this case. If you bought this machine new and HP failed to contact you you should contact email@example.com to let them know. I have a list of individuals they failed to notify. Weve repaired thousands of these and a better DC jack as well as the Schottkey rectifier should both be replaced. If you need more help just yell back.

Yes this can be repaired, and I believe this to be a good machine and worth it. The cost for a jack repair is approx $100 at most smaller computer shops. Bestbuy, however, will be a heck of alot more expensive. You should have the jack repaired ASAP. A loose or broken jack can cause an electrical arch which can, in turn, cause severe damage to the machine. Damage that may force you to buy a new laptop.
