Question about Cell Phones
Without knowing your model of phone it probably needs the firmware updating or, more likely, the backlight on the LCD screen is knackered. To test, turn on your phone in a dark room and shine a torch onto the screen. If you can see some of the screen then the bscklight has gone. Also try connecting the phone to your PC & updating the firmware.
