SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do i change my password when im on as a guest windows vista

Hi
Sorry to be negative but the guest account cannot change the computer settings, only someone with administrator rights and an administrator account username and password can make such a change.
Cheers

Pc went to a safe mode screen and now we cannot get out of it

Hold the power button on the computer for 5 seconds or until the computer turns off.
Turn the computer back on, and it should boot the computer up regularly.
Sorry if you already tried this, hope it helps.
Thanks for using FixYa.

When I format the hdd and installing win xp sp2 Blue screen keeping reporting tha the bios is not fully acpi compatible and I'm unable since to get it done

im sorry there is no one answer to this problem a couple of possible solutions are to 1. Reboot the computer to restart Setup.
2. When Setup starts again, press F7 when you see the "Press F6 if you need to install a third-party SCSI or RAID driver" screen.
Windows automatically disables the installation of the ACPI HAL and installs the Standard PC HAL. You should also contact the manufacturer of your computer to obtain a BIOS that is fully ACPI compliant.

you could have a bad stick or sticks of ram

or you need to flash/update you bios

or you need to clear the cmos [removal of battery or a jumper switch depending on your mobo]

once again im sorry to not have a clear one size fits all solution to this problem i hope this helps you and please vote for me

Will not boot, error message

Hello

Im sorry to hear about your luck. Basically this error message is letting you know that one of your important windows system files is corrupt or missing.

Problem is every solution requires you to use a cd. Does the PC have USB drives ?

GAMING PROBLEMS

The problem is that this laptop, like most laptops, does not have a graphics chip capable of handling new 3D games. Sorry but there's nothing you can do about that except try running the games in the lowest graphics settings possible.

Make sure the jumpers on the HDD are set to master. Try on a different PC to see if it is recognized. Check the cables, etc..and let me know.

Logging on

Hi

If you are not able to log on to the computer, the restart the computer and immediately keep tapping F8 to get the Windows Advanced Options and then select Safe Mode.
Once it gets to the login screen, then click on Administrator. It will not ask for a password but will let you login to windows.
Once you login, you can change the password in User Accounts in Control Panel or create another account.
