My phone is not reading the sim card eversince i took it out for a few minutes yesterday

say a prayer to st. anthony, the patron saint of lost things. think positive thoughts and ask god for the serenity and patience you need to keep a positive mind without over-reacting about your phone. make sure to thank Him for the gifts he has given you and be grateful that your problems are not more life threatening.

If prayers don't work, i would leave off for a while, then plug into the charger without turning it on. if it turns on, just leave it alone for 10-20 minutes and allow the phone to find it's sim card.

Try drying up the phone.
Use a hand dryer to gently blow on it so the inner components will be dried.

To avoid this kind of problem from recurring;

Make sure your Sim card is properly inserted

Make sure you avoid hitting the phone on objects and also avoid dropping the phone because this can make the Sim card shift out of place

try taking out both cards and popping the battery on the phone.

Wait a few minutes and then turn the phone on with no card in it.

Turn it back off when it says no card found and insert the newer card and power it back up.

It seemed to keep a memory of the blank card.

Kindly switch off your phone take out the sim wait for 3 minutes re-insert your sim Most probably it will be detected. Put your operator selection to manual.

Have you inserted the Sim correctly. The Sim goes in with the gold plated contact facing down and the cut corner of the sim on the bottom right corner showing when inserted.

Well if you have ever took a part the phone maybe the sim card has slipped down a little bit , if not maybe the sim card has been blocked or cancelled .
