I have the same problem, except mine was plugged directly into the wall.  I checked to ensure the adapter was plugged in all the way - still dead as a door nail.  Thanks

My 17 year old used my 2710 all in one, worked fine.  Two days later I tried to use it and no power.  It's plugged into the wall.  There is no power indicator on the power pack.  I've tried wiggling the power supply input in the seat to see if it was loose.  No such luck, not even a flicker.  Is there an internal fuse anywhere?  Anything else that I can possibly check? Thank You

I have no power getting to the printer. Bought brand new and very little use. Is there an internal fuse? Anything?

Thank you for your offer of help, but I solved the problem. I simply made sure all the connections were secure and one wasn't. After that I decided to renew my waranty which was up in Jul 08, but did not accept HP's offer. Telephone help for one year @ $65 and I declined. I did not use their services for the time I had an extended warranty, except to find out how to turn off the printer and to install a cartridge. My printer was purchased in 05, so I decided to use until it breaks or wont work. Next time I will not get the expensive one.

Please try to connect the printer directly to the wall outlet as HP recommends the printer to be connected to the wall outlet as the
surge protector may not provide sufficient power to the All-in-One. However, please check the power adaptor and check if the light glows.

Power both PC and Printers off. Leave the printer off, re-seat printer carteridges. Turn the printer back on, and then make sure your computer sees the printer and try again.

I had a power outage in my house yesterday and today my Canon PIXMA mp 560 printer will not turn on. I have tried plugging it to different outlets. There is simply NO response from the printer.

Chances are it has blown the main fuse in the power supply, and perhaps done some additional damage to some electronic parts. The printer must be dis-assembled to make that determination.

Printer won't start.. Working yesterday won't come on today... Plugged in and attached to computer??

Check the wall outlet.Plug something else and see working.Unplug the printer from power cord and wait 30 min. Then plug it.If not working there is a problem in power supply in printer.Look for service in your area.

It's a bad power supply. go to http://www.ebay.com and search for HP PSC 750 and there are numerous of new power supplies for the printer. Or, the wiring is dead inside the printer. Go to http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01321436&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=57769&lang=en

It's either the PSU or a bad USB cable.

HP office jet 4315v No power. Yesterday I printed several times. Today there's no power to the printer. I have pressed the off-on button, the printer does not power up.

Might be the power cord, try using a different one. I that doesn't work then you might need to try and plug it in a different outlet.

If that fails, replace the printer.

If the Power light is not illuminated, first check the power cable to ensure all connections are correct. Next, turn off the printer, then turn it on again. If the Power light does not become illuminated, the printer needs to be serviced. I believe if this doesn't work you have a bad power supply.
