Go into the explorer properties and set the exceptions to allow this site, and you might do the same for the firewall settings. This sounds like your firewall or explorer security is blocking the site for some reason.

Block websites

Go to explorer and click on tools then click internet options. Look for the tab security and click it. Then you will see restricted sites. After you click on restricted sites you will see the "sites" button light up. Click on the sites button and you can add Omegle to the restricted sites.

just use Google Chrome or Firefox. They are far better than IE anyway.

Ok i have a compaq presario cq50 and it was working fine untill a few days ago then all of a sudden everytime i tried to go to a website it would say internet explorer cannot display webpage.but whats...

if you can get other web pages what might have happened is the site you were on has a weak reception or you might be in a weak reception area or there are two many others using this site at one time try taking your pc laptop to a nother place in in your area and see if you get better reception especially on a clear night

Every time I connect to net this site opens on its own.It is very embarressing as it tends to open infront of others.

which site? this site?

If you are using Mozilla Firefox go to TOOLS then OPTIONS you should be able to see a box beside the word Home Page. Type in that box the website you want your browser to open everytime you open Mozilla Firefox

if you are using Internet Explorer go to TOOLS then INTERNET OPTIONS it should be the same with Mozilla Firefox. a box beside the word Homepage. Type in that box the website you want Internet Explorer to open everytime you open Internet Explorer

IF the website you are ferreing to just INSTANTLY POPS OUT. then it is an adware (virus), you need to have your antivirus program scan your computer.

Can't read or send e-mails,computer keeps restarting

There is a work around to this problem, use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.  You can download them on another computer and save them to a memory stick/usb flash drive.  Then you can take them to the computer that is having problems with internet explorer and install them.  I ran into this problem the other day (with internet explorer)...i suggest scanning for infections with a program like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=5756) But the other two browsers (firefox and chrome) should help you out for now.  Good Luck

Internet Explorer

click on File at the top of the screen make sure it's not checked work offline.

Also make sure you have valid shortcuts of actual websites on your desktops and not copies of those same webpages, the difference is that when you click on a copied webpage it will almost always open up as an "offline" web page. When you click on an actual shortcut icon of a website it will open up and go to the website, however you still need to ensure that "work offline" is not checked.

Also update your internet explorer.

Another thing you can do is, open up a program that you know will pull up a webpage and try it that way. A final thing you can do is go under the Internet Explorer folder in the Programs folder under your hard drive and click on the Internet Ex icon there.
